First of all, I am a young Latino, and my vote IS FOR .....
I applaud the article on how is is aimed to spread fear into every latino in this community...
Hopefully latinos read this.... but I ask you...

Who has deported more immigrants than any other president? Barack Obama! He has deported over 1.5million latinos... That is our mothers, sisters, fathers, brothers and grandparents...

Who has made our young into every 2 year SLAVES.... That executive mandate has made fearful slaves our my friends and family.... In other words if we (the latino community) do not vote for him/democrats every two years, then their student/work permit may be revoked... that is creating slaves out of our youth, and making them live in even more fear.

Again I ask you, under what president were guns allowed to be sold to mexico, where over 300 mexicans were killed by these guns? Again, Barack Obama... and all you have to do is look at real reporting by Univision...

Last but not least.... who promised immigration reform in his first year? who had control of the senate and the house (over 2/3 majority where no one could stop him) his first two years? and did nothing for us? Barack Obama...

he spent his time on the health care law, which by the way, if you dont buy it you will be taxed, fined, that is more money coming out of our community who needs it.....

Again this article is one side of the coin, and I wish that next time El Mexicano prints both perspectives and not just one... that would be REAL reporting...

as a ps.... please look who has more mayors, senators, representatives that are Latinos...
a little hint... not the democrats

You are pretty maliable by the looks of it and the republicans' plan is working obviously, if you think that because a party has (a FEW) more governmental figures in their party, we shold vote for them, just for that reason.
On Nov 7, a good number of latinos got elected to office, FOR BOTH PARTIES, but that still shold NOT be a reason to vote for a given party. Thats just bad logic. Many are from of Cuban descent and that is understandable to a certain extent because they are greatful to the Republican party. Some are from Texas, which is a staunchly republican state. Dont be fooled people. Of those voted into office this year, many of the Republican candidates dont even speak spanish, they are more in tune with their american side and that is ok, yet more the reason we should not choose a party just because a party has more latinos in it, yet DMartinez thinks that we should vote Republican, mhhmmm...

Wow, DMartinez, you couldnt be further from the truth... and as shown by the backing of 69% of the latino vote for
Obama, they proved that they too, could see through the blatant hipocrisy that Robmoney showed in each and every opportunity he had to lie to the public. The reasons you state for why latinos should not support Obama are pretty superficial in comparison to the reasons why we should support him, which are considerably more important and make a greater positive impact in the latino community. Obama supports education, health care, environment, economy (yes because "fixing the ecomomy dosent take less time than it took to mess it up) immigration, ammong others. Robmoney's speeches greatly focused on "more free trade" which is after all what bit latin america and Mexico in the behind, because thanks to free trade agreements like NAFTA, american corn became so cheap and desirable to latin america and Mexico, that Mexican farmers were unnable to sell their more expensive (yet locally sourced, non-gmo, supportive of local economy) corn. Mexicans were buying gringo corn, and they still do. Thus many Mexican people had lost it all and were forced to migrate to the U.S. Second, how can somebody who was born in wealth and privillege ever truly understand the struggles of the common person? When in 2011, 100% of Robmoney's income consisted of proffits from his investments to the sound of 35 million, he makes noise of what he knows not. He may be a savvy business man, but all he sees is $$$ and dosent understand the consequences of the methods he uses to get there, and that kind of person is not somebody this country, or for that matter this planet, can afford to have running the country. The state of the environment is dire, and somebody like Robmoney would have put it in a worse state with each and every day he was in power. Such as with Bushie Jr who did desastrous things for our environment (which in turn greatly affects the rest of the world and Mexico) and failed to sign the KYOTO protocol that would make major developing countries help cut co2 emissions to help with global warming. Hint hint, Sandy... which today is estimated to have cost New Jersey 30 billion in losses, and who has to bear that cost? Wouldnt it be easier to be proactive and start to put solutions to problems, and not bandaids, like Republicans? Robmoney's solution to the economy would have been bandaid in nature, and a "quick solution". Obama has more foresight and has supported alternative forms of energy and wants to decrease our unsatiable dependence on foreign oil. People, RESOURCES ARE FINITE, they dont last forever, lets make our own!
And 3, Education. Robmoney touts his state of Massachusetts as the state with the best education system, but not thanks to him. Even his own state did not give him their vote for president! People there tired of saying that Robmoney did horrendous things with their state during his tennure as governor, and that they would not give him their support for president. Bad communities do not make bad schools, bad schools make bad communities. (Waiting for Superman documentary). We need to understand how badly our latino community has been jipped of quality education and demmand that and support presidents who want to do better by our children and support a better education system for our kids. I support immigration reform, but its definitely not my end all focus of my vote, we have bigger problems facing this country. We need to look at how other countries with quality education systems and good economies (Germany, Norway ect) are running their country, and thats definitely NOT how Republicans would do it!
